CHITOSAN TECH - Bioprotector

CHITOSAN TECH is a formula based on chitosan (poly-D-glucosamine) in solution, a natural polymer that is extracted from crustacean shells. It is a nutritional supplement to improve the resistance and vitality of our crop. When applied to the crop, it exerts an elicitor effect: the plants will think they are being attacked by pests, so they will naturally improve their natural defenses.

CHITOSAN TECH and its improved formula with Zinc and Magnesium elicits the mechanisms of systemic acquired resistance (SAR) which causes the synthesis of phytoalexins, enzymes and resistance proteins against different pathogens. In turn, the provision of zinc increases the synthesis of IAA (indoleacetic acid), the formation of shoots, the germination of pollen and is involved in the synthesis and partitioning of starch.
